The soundtrack of “Love in Action” played an important role in the success of the movie.
At the beginning of the campaign, a song was commissioned for the main theme. The song “Divine” was written and performed by the Greek band “Transistor” and quickly became a hit after being used in all the Lacta commercials during late 2009.
“Transistor” even performed the song for the cameras, appearing in the film itself during a montage scene towards the end.
The original music composed for the film by Sotiris Kastanis and produced by Sting Studio became a favorite with the fans of the films that demanded to be able to download it. Fulfilling their wish, we released the original soundtrack online and made it downloadable for free.
For the soundtrack album, we also recorded the song the Myrto’s character in the film, wrote for Dimitris. It’s called “Promise Me” and it was sung by singer Katerina Idrya, composed by Sotiris Kastanis with lyrics by Anastasia Basta and Sotiris Kastanis, produced by Sting Studio and George Zannetopoulos.
